Faversham and the surrounding villages face the prospect of 4,000 more houses.
Proposed changes to Swale Borough Council’s Local Plan will shape development in the borough until 2038. It’s vital as many residents as possible have a say in its design so that the new Local Plan is one that the whole community can support.
All political parties committed to building homes at the last General Election to address the housing crisis, but it’s up to councils to work out where they should go and involve local people in their decisions.
