It’s #ParliamentWeek – an exciting time for constituents to discover more about what I do and where I work. I've put together a 'day in my life' for you to see.
I’m encouraging schools in the constituency to sign up online to get a free UK Parliament Week kit, with activities for primary schools, secondary schools, youth groups and over 16s. You can do this here: ukparliamentweek.org
Ahead of this year’s Parliament Week, I visited Bapchild and Tonge CE Primary School and enjoyed a fantastic Q&A session with their Year 6 class. They asked me some great questions, covering a wide variety of topics, and even asked me to show them my favourite dance moves!
I’m always keen to get more young people involved in politics and I’m looking forward to more school visits later this week.
