I am disappointed by the decision to approve the Perry Court proposals.
Many of you have told me you are worried about the impact this development will have on the community.
Though I have no formal role in the planning process, I did write to the council outlining my concerns. You can read the letter by clicking the attachment below.
Unfortunately the council could find no legal basis on which to reject the application and was reluctant to risk a costly appeal process. You can read more here.
Now that Perry Court is going ahead, I will be keeping pressure on the council to make sure our roads, schools and health services are able to cope.
