My heart goes out to the family of two-year-old Faye Burdett, from Maidstone. They have been so brave and inspirational in their determination to make sure their daughter's death has not been in vain. They have launched a petition calling on the Governmnet to vaccinate all children under 11 against meningitis. I have been in contact with them and I have asked Jane Ellison MP, the Public Health Minister, for a meeting to discuss the petition. In future, let's make sure other families do not have to go through the pain and loss that the Burdetts are suffering.
