Following the General Election, I’ve been introducing myself to the new parts of the constituency as the local Member of Parliament. At the end of last year, I held meetings in Bredgar, Milstead, Oare, Rodmersham and Heron Fields – thank you to all of the local cafes, pubs and village halls which hosted us. Next on my list are Conyer and Teynham, so please look out for an invitation in the post if you live in these areas.
These meetings are great because I get the chance to meet you and hear directly about your community concerns. Some people come along with questions, while others turn up just to say hello and listen to what I have to say. If you’re keen for me to visit your area please let me know, it might already be on my list! The meetings are a good opportunity to get members of the community together in one room.
It’s my job to represent all of Faversham and Mid Kent in Parliament, and whether you voted for me or not, please know that I am someone you can always call on for support.
