The Supreme Court has ruled that Parliament must vote on whether to trigger Article 50 and begin our formal withdrawal from the EU.
I have already voted to support the Government's timetable for withdrawing from the EU. When the question comes to the House of Commons, I will vote to trigger Article 50.
The Government was elected on a manifesto promising a referendum. Parliament voted to hold that referendum. The British people voted for Brexit. The Government must see that through.
