It’s one of the hardest jobs of the year, but I’m pleased to announce the winner of my annual Christmas card competition.
The winning design is by Luna from Oaks Primary Academy in Maidstone and features a snowman against a blue sky.
I invited all schools in the constituency to take part in the competition to design my Christmas card. A lot of excellent drawings were sent in and choosing a winner was not an easy task. But the year-4 pupil's drawing caught my eye.
A huge thank you to everyone who took part and to all the teachers who encouraged their kids to get involved. As Arts Minister, I want to encourage even more people - particularly children - to get involved with art and have the chance to create things. It’s clear we have a lot of talented young people in Kent.
I wish everyone, a very happy Christmas and New Year!
